Lil Uzi Vert shares cover art and more for his long-awaited album Eternal Atake.
The Philadelphia rapper has had a few setbacks in attempting to release his sophomore album. Back in December 2018, Lil Uzi Vert shared that the album was finished during a public performance. Since then, fans have seen the Lil Uzi take on music festivals, star on other musician’s songs and a handful of loose singles.
In March 2019, Uzi started using the phrase ‘Free Uzi,’ stating that he was done with music until a Roc Nation management deal got him back in the studio. Now, fans of the “Money Longer” artist are seemingly closer to Eternal Atake than ever before.
“Futsal Shuffle 2020” launched Lil Uzi’s year and “That Way” kicked off the Eternal Atake countdown releasing on March 1, 2020. Lil Uzi also teases a follow-up release “Baby Pluto” with no specific date but promises fans that the release of Eternal Atake is “real shit.”
In a fury of tweets, Lil Uzi Vert shared multiple covers for Eternal Atake, saying “I’m letting You Pick The Cover !!!!” to fans on Twitter. He is due to perform during Wireless Festival 2020 this summer in the U.K. View the album art selections, the winning choice and a short film shared via Twitter below.
