Lil’ Baby’s latest project, My Turn, is expected to sell between 170,000 and 190,000 records during its first week. Of those 170,000 or more copies, 7,000 are traditional units. This is no surprise as the Atlanta artist had dominated streaming with singles like “Woah” and “Sum 2 Prove” prior to the album’s release.
My Turn is Lil’ Baby’s first full length project of 2020. Prior to My Turn, Lil’ Baby’s 2018 projects, Street Gossip, Harder Than Ever and Drip Harder all went gold or platinum. His newest project includes Gunna, Lil’ Wayne, Lil’ Uzi Vert, Young Thug and many others. It also featured production from Tay Keith, Hit Boy, DJ Paul and Murda Beatz.
Despite his phenomenal sales, he’ll have stiff competition from Korean Pop group, BTS. Their latest album, Map of the Seoul, moved 422,000 units during its first week and will look to remain atop the charts for a second week.
Lil’ Baby will celebrate his first week success with a March 7th show at the Bill Harris Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.
