Lil’ Durk and Lil’ Baby returned to Oakland City for the first video from Voice of the Heroes. For their second effort, the duo headed out to a major jewelry auction. In the “How It Feel” video, Lil’ Baby and Lil’ Durk team up to perform a heist that would make Lupin proud. In the end, the two artists use the money and jewels they recovered to give back to people in their neighborhood.
“I know how it feel to think everybody against you/I know how it feel to watch bullets go through a windshield/I know how it feel when you try your best to be real,” Lil’ Baby raps.
“I know how it feel when you think no one understands you/I know how it feel when the one you love gettin’ ran through/I know how it feel, I done really cut off my mans too/I know how it feel when you broke, and them bills past due.”
The overarching message of the video is to use your talents to give back to your community. In fact, that is the message of the entire project. Lil’ Durk and Lil’ Baby are coming into their own as artists and leaders before our very eyes. Check out the full “How It Feel” video.
