Leonardo DiCaprio has already found his next project after The Revenant debuts Christmas of this year. The Wolf Of Wall Street actor’s next film The Crowded Room is based on the Daniel Keyes nonfiction book focused on Billy Mulligan — the first person to successfully multiple personality disorder as a legal defense.
Talk about the ultimate con.
Here’s is a bit of the backstory: Billy Mulligan was charged in the late 70s with armred robbery and the rapes of three women at the Ohio State University campus. Mulligan, who was diagnosed with multiple personality syndrome, was able to manipulate the court system that it was one of his alternate personalities that committed those crimes.
Like, what!? This could be the movie that may get Leo that elusive Oscar he’s been so desperately wanting. A release date hasn’t been announced as of now.
