Leonard Fournette, star running back from the Jacksonville Jaguars, will be suspended for their week 13 contest against the Indianapolis Colts. Fournette’s suspension comes as a result of his role in a fight with Bills Defensive End Shaq Lawson. The main reason for him getting suspended was him leaving the bench to join the fight according to the NFL.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are possibly the most disappointing team in the NFL this season. Coming off an appearance in the AFC Championship game last season, many viewed them as the favorites to represent the AFC in Super Bowl 53. The Jags came into the season with what most believed was the best defense and a top-tier running game. The defense never quite got on track, and injuries along with the ineffectiveness of Blake Bortles made it difficult for them to run the ball. The Jaguars currently have the 21st ranked offense in the NFL.
Earlier today, the team announced they were benching Blake Bortles in favor of Cody Kessler. The benching of Bortles comes just months after he received a 3-year, $54 million extension. The benching of the starting quarterback and your best offensive player getting suspended is a drastic thing to happen to any team, let alone a 3-7 squad floundering. The Jags’ are dealing with both, and on top of that, they also fired their offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett today. Jacksonville’s season was disappointing yesterday, but now it has become a train wreck.
