Following a crushing loss in Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals, emotions ran high. A game that the Cleveland Cavaliers absolutely needed to have slipped right through their fingers. For LeBron James, his emotions got the best of him.
During the postgame conference following Game 4, the title-sealing victory for the Golden State Warriors, James said he had basically been playing with a broken right hand. However, what was not known was how he broke it.

Sam Amick of USA Today Sports says that the self-inflicted injury that LeBron talked about in the clip above was a result of punching a whiteboard.

James was also seen in the postgame interview with cast on his right hand. That is also his dominant and shooting hand.
