LeBron James may be the best basketball player in the world right now, but his son, LeBron James Jr., is next. James just showed us all that he is one of the best players to ever do it. He came back from a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors, and he won his 3rd Finals MVP award. James is leaving some mighty big shoes for his son to fill.
LeBron Jr. has been dominating his peers, and according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin and Brian Windhorst, he has already received scholarship offers from the two biggest basketball schools in the country:
He raised both arms, just as he did when he pinned Iguodala’s would-be layup against the glass with his right arm, and his son, 11-year-old LeBron Jr., did the same (making it no wonder why he already has standing scholarship offers from both Duke and Kentucky, according to a source).
LeBron was dominant when he was in high school, but he never received attention like this at such a young age. Some would say that 11 is too young to offer a scholarship, but if Duke or Kentucky is right about this kid, no one will doubt them. LeBron Jr. has basketball genes, and when he is old enough, he will probably receive offers from every college in the country.
