Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James has a tradition of shutting out all forms of social media come playoff time so that he can focus on the game. It’s a tradition that makes sense; in the playoffs, every loss counts. You can’t afford to be distracted. My only gripe with it is the name. “Zero Dark Thirty-23?” Come on, seriously? You couldn’t drop the “Thirty” from the name?
Anyways, LeBron isn’t sure if he wants to go through with “Zero Dark Thirty-23” this time around. From ESPN’s Dave McMenamin”
“I don’t know,” James said after the team’s practice on Friday. “In the past I haven’t done it until like the night before the game anyways. So, we don’t play until Sunday, so I still have a day, two days actually to figure out what I’m going to do.
“But, it doesn’t matter, if I’m on social media, if I’m off social media I’m going to be locked in anyway, so I’m not worried about that.”
LeBron addressed this issue after tweeting this:

But then tweeting a string of four tweets following Kobe Bryant’s last game. Those tweets can be viewed on James’ twitter page here.
LeBron will need to be locked in. The East shouldn’t be too challenging, but a team like Toronto could knock off Cleveland if they catch them off guard. The real challenge comes out west, though. If the Cavs can make the Finals, the Warriors or Spurs will likely be there waiting for them.
The Cavs will play game 1 vs. the Detroit Pistons on Sunday at 2:00 PM ET. The game can be viewed on ABC.
