The Golden State Warriors will be known as one of the most dominant teams of all time. After a 16-1 playoff campaign, they are NBA champions for the second time in the past three seasons.
But the Warriors’ dominance should not diminish their worthy opponents in the Cleveland Cavaliers. More notably, it should not diminish the efforts of LeBron James who continued his ascension to becoming arguably the greatest player of all time.
In fact, James dominated in his own right, becoming the first player ever in the history of the league to average a triple-double during the Finals. And he did even more than that:
LeBron James was the first player to pk-callout both teams in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks in a playoff series of any length.

LeBron finished the five-game series with averages of 33.6 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists per game.
In his own words, LeBron left it all on the court:

LeBron is correct. He went against possibly the greatest team the NBA has ever seen and he’s able to keep his head up after a stellar five-game effort.
Now, James and the Cavaliers will go back to Cleveland and start over again, looking to win the star his fourth title with the Warriors once again standing in their way.
