LeBron James recently signed a massive contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he is putting that money to use. No, he is not buying a new car or a huge house, but he is paying for 5,000 kids to go to Sandusky, Ohio’s Cedar Point amusement park.
The event was part of the King’s “I Promise” initiative, which offers a free college education to kids after high school. TMZ Sports spoke with a rep from Cedar Point about the event:
“It’s an honor to work with a wonderful, dedicated group of people who provide so much to Northeast Ohio – and we’re happy to provide a ‘Best Day’ experience for their program families here at the park.”
James loves the community in Ohio, and this is just one of many generous gestures he has done for the community. First, he brought the state an NBA Championship. Because of this, he signed a huge contract with the Cavs, and he is using that money to help thousands of kids and families in need. Chase Bank helped LeBron pay for the whole thing, and the kids were also offered a sit-down with LeBron too. So basically, these kids get to meet LeBron, go to an amusement park, and he is paying for their college. The King is clearly one of the most generous people on this earth.
