Laurence Fishburne and Nick Jonas will star in the upcoming film, The Blacksmith. Jonas will play the role of Wes Loomis while Fishburne will play the role of Mather.
The Blacksmith centers around the story of Loomis, a weapons expert who goes on the run after his workplace is ravaged and colleagues are killed. Teaming up with a young CIA analyst known as Noelle Hazlitt, Loomis works to stay alive and uncover the mystery surrounding this disaster. Along the way, they seek the help of Mather to guide him and Hazlitt on their journey.
The plot and leads have been set. In the near future, AGC Studios have noted that the role of Hazlitt will be filled.
“{We will] soon be announcing an equally outstanding young female actor to play across from Nick,” AGC Studios CEO Stuart Ford said.
The Blacksmith production will begin later this year.
