Langston Galloway has been bouncing around in the NBA since he initially broke through with the New York Knicks. He’s been on three teams in three seasons and ended the 2016-17 campaign as a member of the Sacramento Kings. He was a part of the DeMarcus Cousins trade to New Orleans and his expiring contract was used to match some salary.
Hitting free agency for the second time in his career means a payday is coming and he’s getting a well deserved deal. He’s reportedly inking a contract with the Detroit Pistons to possibly be their backup point guard, or a potential starter if necessary.
Following comes from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

For the Pistons, this all but assures they’re preparing for the departure of either Reggie Jackson in a trade or Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in free agency. Galloway is a player who can handle the ball and play both guard spots if necessary. Ish Smith is under contract and he performed relatively well as the starting point guard. Now it’s up to Stan Van Gundy to decide who rules his backcourt.
