Lakers Sign Ronnie Price
The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a one-year, minimum contract deal with veteran point guard Ronnie Price, according to sources for USA TODAY Sports. The official deal has not been officially announced yet.
Price, 31, played 31 games for the Orlando Magic last season. The Lakers will be his sixth team in his nine-year career.
The Lakers hosted a free agent work out in mid-September that featured Price and also Wayne Ellington, who was also signed this week. It will be another year of spontaneity on the Lakers roster as they look to bounce back from a 27-win season.
