The Los Angeles Lakers have never been a franchise that was unwilling to reach for the stars. With a roster filled with talented sub-22 year olds, the Lakers have a bright future and they are attempting to transition it into a bright present. According to Adrian Wojnarowski on ESPN’s “The Jump”, the Lakers inquired about getting Wade to the Lakers in a slew of potential moves to help lure LeBron to Los Angeles.
“From the moment Detroit renounced Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, The Lakers were already on that.”
“This is all about the greater LeBron conversation.”
“The Lakers had interest if Chicago was A.) Willing to potentially trade him or if Dwyane got a buyout in Chicago, the Lakers would absolutely have interest in signing him.”
