
Update: Kodak Black posts bail and exits the Niagara County Jail Thursday (April 18) afternoon. WKBW Buffalo reports, the rapper released from custody after posting bail quietly walked out using cash to cover his face from cameras.

Florida rapper Kodak Black finds himself back behind bars following an arrest at the United States Border. Now facing gun and drug charges, Kodak Black remains in New York State Police custody.
Heading to perform on his “Dying To Live” tour, many fans angrily left the venue in disappointment. Boston’s WBZ NewsRadio reports one arrest as escalated emotions caused fans to storm the rapper’s tour bus.
Videos uploaded to social media by those in the crowd show a violent scene. This video uploaded by Twitter account Rap Spotlights shows fans chanting “fu*k Kodak” as they berate the tour bus.

Initially, fans remained confused as to Kodak’s whereabouts but shortly thereafter, news of an arrest became public. The United States Customs and Border Protection issued a statement regarding the arrest.
“On Wednesday [April 17] , two vehicles occupied by U.S. Citizens were encountered at the Lewiston-Queenston Port of Entry. During the initial inspection, the U.S. citizens admitted to being in possession of marijuana and firearms. During a secondary inspection, it was revealed that the weapons were possessed unlawfully in New York State and subsequently the marijuana, firearms and subjects were turned over to the New York State Police for further processing. U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations continuously works in collaboration with our law enforcement partners, which include federal, state and local agencies.”
Kodak Black allegedly carried a Glock 9m pistol as well as two additional loaded handguns and marijuana. The ZEZE rapper also currently faces charges of first-degree sexual assault in South Carolina.
