Knucks’ highly-anticipated project, Alpha Place, has arrived! Led by singles like “Leon The Professional” and “Nice & Good” with SL, the 13-track project pairs clever wordplay and storytelling ability with grim, bass-heavy production. Ultimately, the South Kilburn native is able to build a soundscape that is unique to his story and talents. Along the way, he pulls an incredible collection of voices together in order to complement his sound. Stormzy, Shaé Universe, Ragz Originale, M1llionz, Sainte, Lex Amor and Venna.
Alpha Place cements Knucks’ rise as an artist. In addition to releasing his latest project, he is also set to begin his first U.K. tour this month. Announced in February, the five-show event sold out in under five minutes. As a result, he was able to add additional shows to accommodate the demand. Beyond his U.K. tour, Knucks is set to make his way to New York for a one-off show in June.
At this point in time, U.K. artists are breaking into the U.S. market in a way that they have never done before. Santan Dave is currently headlining a tour around the country, Digga D just added a collaboration with Moneybagg Yo to his catalog and Ella Mai is releasing her sophomore album tonight. Not to mention, Little Simz is in the process of reshaping her U.S. tour for a later today. Moving forward, it’s going to be impossible to ignore rising U.K. acts like Knucks.
