The New York Knicks won 17 games last season. 17. The worst season in the history of the Knicks and the second-worst record in the NBA. Unfortunately for them, they landed at the fourth spot in the 2015 NBA Draft lottery, completely ruining any potential plans for a big name talent in the draft that they coveted.
It’s almost assumed they are out on getting Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor and D’Angelo Russell, three guys they highly covet, so now they go to plan b.
Plan b could mean moving down from their current spot to somewhere lower in the draft.

Knicks keep pursuing deals to move out of No. 4 spot and back in lottery, league sources tell Yahoo.

They have worked out Frank Kaminsky, Cameron Payne and Justise Winslow. All three are players the Knicks have prior interest in and these guys are expected to go in the later parts of the lottery from about the seventh pick on.
The thing is, why move your pick? Why take a risk on a less than talented player? Unless someone sweetens the deal for the Knicks to move down, then pull the trigger. The Eric Bledsoe rumor is just that, a rumor, so don’t expect to see Bledsoe in a Knicks jersey anytime soon.
Why move down when they possibly could have the cards dealt in their favor depending on what happens before them. Don’t pull the trigger New York. Just take the guy who works for you.
UPDATE
The Knicks picture for the NBA Draft may have gotten even more confusing as their time on the clock approaches.
