The New York Knicks have been one of the more mediocre teams, to say the least, over the last few years for multiple reasons. One of the main culprits behind their lack of success has been a front office full of adversity, highlighted by Phil Jackson.
However, these ways could be changing sooner rather than later as the Knicks recently parted ways with Jackson and have since been looking for someone to step into their general manager role. Earlier today, it was announced that the Knicks have found their new GM and will hire Scott Perry, according to Vincent Goodwill of CSNChicago:
Sources say Kings VP Scott Perry and Knicks have come to agreement to become Knicks new GM

Perry was still serving as the Vice President of the Sacramento Kings, a job he had accepted just months prior to now being named the GM in New York. Before working with the Kings, Perry also had stints with the Detroit Pistons, Seattle Supersonics, and Orlando Magic.
While the 53-year-old has never held a primary GM position, he still has a successful front office resume and should help change the losing culture that has developed in New York in recent years. Perry will look to get the Knicks franchise on the right track and it will have start with a few key decisions that still need to be addressed this offseason.
