Klay Thompson has been on a ridiculously cold streak to start the 2018-19 season for the Golden State Warriors. The sharpshooting All-Star entered Monday night’s contest against the Chicago Bulls with only five three-pointers made all season and his season-high points scored was 19. He went ahead and shattered that in the first quarter.
Thompson exploded early in the game with 22 points and six made three-pointers in the first quarter alone, but he wasn’t done there. He went on to hit 10 three-points in the first half and the Warriors took a 92-50 lead at halftime.
With the game out of hand and the Warriors essentially with a victory secured, all eyes were on Klay Thompson and what he could do behind the arc.
The Warriors were getting it to Klay by any means necessary and he delivered. It didn’t take much time for Thompson to tie his teammate Stephen Curry for the NBA three-point record at 13 but we all knew why he was out on the court during a blowout. It was time to set a record.

It’s safe to say Klay has broken out of his slump.
Thompson finished with 52 points on the night on 18-29 shooting from the field and 14-24 shooting from three-point range while he also grabbing five rebounds on the night. The Warriors beat the Bulls 149-124.
