Another year and another Sacramento Kings failure in the off-season. The George Karl vs. the Sacramento Kings saga continues as their feud is ongoing, and with the latest news this could be a sign of things to come in the near future.
I've been told Kings management won't allow George Karl to hire his son Coby as an assistant coach. George and Coby are extremely close.

Before the NBA draft the Kings head coach George Karl pushed ownership to trade the big man to hopefully land some pieces that he wanted to build the team around, and Cousins’ was not apart of those plans.
Now all signs are pointing to George Karl not being in the Sacramento Kings plans especially if the team truly didn’t allow Karl to hire the assistant coach he wanted.
The Kings may not want another unwanted contract on their books in case Karl is fired before the season or early on if things go south fast.
The Kings have done nearly everything to keep DeMarcus Cousins’ happy by signing Kentucky alumni Rajon Rondo and drafting good friend Willie Cauley-Stein.
Karl and the Kings could be a failed combination it was great to see Karl back in a coaching gig, but this one might be better off separating sooner rather than later.
