It has been a tumultuous few days for Sacramento Kings executive Vlade Divac. The vice president and GM has been under scrutiny for the questionably lopsided trade of DeMarcus Cousins to the New Orleans Pelicans. Divac is doubling down on the trade and defending it, as he should. He went into some detail about what was learned during this seemingly endless trade process.
Divac says he is not worried about his perception to other players, agents, and those in the league.
This is followed up by a tweet from USA Today Sports’ Sam Amick that goes on about how Divac can no longer trust agents, and insinuates that Cousins’ representatives pushed for another potential offer to be squashed.
Kings' Vlade Divac, on @Sports1140KHTK, asked what he learned in process: "Not to trust agents" Insinuates Cousins' reps killed another deal

It is pretty obvious that Vlade Divac is not all too happy with the way the trade shook out. In the next clip he declines to comment on the previous story that he told Cousins he was not going to be traded.
It seems Divac wants this to be swept under the rug as soon as possible. He mentioned a better deal was available to him just a few days, admitting that this trade with New Orleans is not the ideal scenario. The Kings can breathe a little easier now that Cousins is out of their hair. Let the rebuild begin.
