The Kings were on the brink of moving their franchise from their beloved home
in Northern Californian City of Sacramento just a couple of years ago, but after the efforts of former NBA players who love the city of Sacramento, we will be seeing the Kings move into a new arena.
The Kings will open their season against the San Antonio Spurs at their new Golden 1 Center on October 27th. The Kings new jerseys have always been released and now they have released the home court design that is going to keep ‘Sacramento Proud’. According to Jason Wise of NBA.com:
The newest and most technologically advanced arena in the NBA — Golden 1 Center — will debut with a brand new court for the Sacramento Kings this October.
Featuring a 20-foot Kings primary logo at the center of the floor, Sacramento’s home hardwood is sure to exhibit the support the community has for its team.
The Kings will take all the support they can right now. With the franchise in a bit of a strange stage in their rebuilding process, the Kings will need something new and refreshing to rejuvenate the fans support of this franchise. Fans have grown tired of seeing the Kings constantly out of the playoffs, while boasting a roster that should contend for a playoff spot each year. With an all-star in DeMarcus Cousins leading them into a new arena, you hope this is a start of a new age in Sacramento.
