
Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi is moving further into his career as an actor. The Hollywood Reporter has informed the movie world that Mescudi has secured a role in the upcoming thriller, Silent Night. According to the report, the Ohio native is headed down to Mexico City to join co-stars John Woo and Joel Kinnaman as production begins. There is no release date set just yet, but a potential longline has emerged.
“[Goldlock is] a father on a mission to avenge his young son who was tragically caught in the crossfire of gang violence on Christmas Eve. Shot and nearly killed while in pursuit of the murderers, Godlock vows to avenge his son by any means necessary,” the potential synopsis reads, according to THR.
Kinnaman is expected to play the role of Goldlock while Mescudi portrays a detective by the name of Dennis Vassel. Other stars attached to the project include Harold Torres and Catalina Sandino Moreno.
Beyond his work on Silent Night, Mescudi stars in A24‘s latest horror film, X. He is also set to direct and star in the upcoming Netflix film, Teddy.
