The Cleveland Cavaliers have been rolling as of late winning 13 of their last 14 games, and playing excellent basketball yet they still can’t escape the drama. Earlier this week LeBron James infamous tweet made news headlines all over and it continues from Kevin Love himself.
I was caught off-guard when I heard about it,” Love said. .”We’re teammates, we see each other, there’s no problem with us.” …
“I’m not sugarcoating or hiding behind it,” James said. “I gotta seem him every day, so if I have something to say to him, I’ll say it to his face. The rest of the guys, too. … I would hope they would come to me as well.”
Love was asked directly if he felt James’ tweet was attributed to him and his October comments.
“I don’t know. I truly feel if LeBron had a problem with me or had to talk to me for good or worse, he would’ve come up and talked to me,” Love said. “I truly believe that.”
Love’s comments are a bit concerning, but I think this whole situation is being overblown big time just like every headline that has to do with Cleveland has been this season. The Cavaliers roster is built mainly with veterans and LeBron James isn’t going to let this drama effect this locker room especially something that involves a key player like Love. That was the sole purpose of unloading a player like Dion Waiters to dispell of the me first attitude and any drama that came with it.
We’ve already seen our share of rumors coming out of Cleveland and without a doubt we will hear more and more come throughout the year, but can they cancel out the noise? As of right now I’d say they have and will do so. The Cavaliers have a match up in Cleveland against The Miami Heat Wednesday which The Cavaliers owe this Miami team one after a Christmas day loss in Miami.
