Kevin Hart is set to star in a new Universal Pictures film sparked by Broad City’s Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs.
The new film does not have a title, but Malcolm D. Lee has been tapped as the director. In addition, Will Packer and James Lopez will join the directorial efforts.
Behind the scenes, Hart and Packer will produce the film through their respective imprints, HartBeat Productions and Will Packer Productions. Meanwhile, Aniello and Downs will write the script and executive produce.
Prior to this film, Packer and Hart have worked together on a number of successful films. The duo has helped put together Think Like A Man and Ride Along.
Universal Pictures has not revealed any further details regarding the film’s plot or release date. More details will be reported as they become available.
