After an impressive Finals performance that earned him the Bill Russell MVP trophy, Kevin Durant made an appearance on James Corden’s late night show to perform an unorthodox interview.
Corden acted out a brief schtick about calling Durant and then pretended to be surprised when he picked up because they couldn’t have planned this, right? Obviously, Durant answered and the two started the interview.
Corden asked the questions that everybody was dying to know. Such as: “Did you lose game four on purpose?” and “What did you whisper to Steph Curry after the game?” After the questions, Corden convinced Durant to give the audience a tour of his luxurious home.
This was a fun interview to kick off Durant’s summer of celebration before he has to head back to the hardwood and try to repeat as an NBA champion.
