Actress Kerry Condon is the latest star to join the cast of the untitled F1 feature film from Apple Studios. Condon joins a cast that currently includes Damson Idris and Brad Pitt. Joseph Kosinski has also signed on as the director. Not to be forgotten, seven-time Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton will serve as an executive producer.
Pitt will serve as the film’s leading man. According to Deadline, he will play the role of “a racer who comes out of retirement to mentor a younger driver and take his final stab at glory on the track as the younger driver’s teammate.” Meanwhile, Condon will step in as “the team’s Technical Director, overseeing the design and development of the sophisticated race car.”
This is not Condon’s first time playing alongside an iconic Hollywood actor. Previously, she starred in The Banshees of Inisherin alongside Colin Farrell. Her work in the film earned an Academy Award nomination in 2023. Moving forward, she is set to star alongside Liam Neeson in In The Land Of Saints And Sinners.
