John Calipari may have added another “one and done” to his impressive collection with guard Tyler Herro officially declaring for the 2019 NBA Draft. He has decided to test the draft waters and will keep his options open during the process. The guard is projected to go somewhere in the late first round.

The Kentucky guard is an interesting prospect and could go a couple of directions with this decision. He is likely a late first round pick but could move up or even down based on how NBA teams are feeling about him. His stock will largely dictate his decision to stay in the process returning to Kentucky for another year.
He is listed at 6’5″ and 195 pounds which would be an ideal size for the NBA level with a little bulking up. The guard provided 14 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game in his lone season with the Wildcats. He is more than capable as a scorer and as a defender on the court.
Just a shooter? Nah, @raf_tyler is a bucket (and a defender, a passer, an attacker and a finisher).

The guard will have a decision to make and its hard to say which side he will fall on when he gets all the feedback. He would be one of the best guards in the NCAA should he return and there are things he could work on, but the NBA may be too much to pass up on.
The decision is never an easy one and improving draft stock is never a guarantee. Tyler Herro is projected to go 24th in the fourth Def Pen 2019 NBA Mock Draft.
