Acts and threats of violence continue to sweep the nation. Today, a man identified as Bryan Carroll was arrested outside of University of Kentucky’s Chandler Hospital after a staff member told the authorities that he appeared suspicious.
[W]e took an individual that could be deemed as armed and dangerous into custody very quickly, efficiently and without any harm to anyone, including himself,” University of Kentucky Police Chief Joe Monroe said. After local police and the FBI arrived, Carroll was apprehended and taken into custody. Authorities reportedly found firearms, armor and “suspected explosive devices” in his possession.
“He will be charged with multiple state charges as well as pending federal charges,” Monroe added.
This is not the first time an action such as this has happened this month. Yesterday, a Georgia man walked into a local grocery store with five guns and body armor. Fortunately, no one has reportedly died in either incident.
