Releasing his first LP back in 2012, long before the body of work made its way into the hands of many across the world, Kendrick garnered buzz for his approach to Hip-Hop and left many curious with his bubbling and buzzing skill. Proving just how talented he is in a previously unreleased interview clip, the 22 year old conveyed everything from his name change from K. Dot to Kendrick Lamar, to the importance of telling his story. Aside from that insight, Kendrick Lamar dropped his bars on Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy cut, ‘So Appalled.’ Dressed as ‘A Little Appalled,’ the best thing about the freestyle, outside from the obvious quality lyricism, is that it would fit right at home on the final track that we received upon its official release. If there was any doubt of Kendrick’s early talent before the world knew his name, here’s proof that the gift has been there from the start and is simply embedded in the rapper.
