For the likes of Kendrick Lamar, his idol, Tupac, not only played a significant role in his life, but it also inspired him to take on the same career path. Even in his early days in the music industry, Kendrick has spoke highly of Mr. Shakur and emphasized his importance and the impact he’s had on his career. As if the homage he paid on his current album, To Pimp A Butterfly, wasn’t enough, Kendrick penned an open letter to his favorite rapper.
