It’s definitely been a great few weeks for Mr. Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick took the #1 spot on last week’s Billboard Top 200 charts and scored his first #1 album of his career. Not only that, Kendrick Lamar held a surprise performance in the streets of L.A., literally, a few days ago in collaboration with Reebok. Now it appears that Kendrick Lamar is putting things into motion for his potential next single from To Pimp A Butterfly. Just yesterday, Kendrick Lamar was spotted in his hometown of Compton as he shot the video for the prolific ‘King Kunta’, off his new album. Bringing the folks from the city of Compton out, Kendrick took to the Compton Fashion Center and turned the video shoot into one big party and incorporated the people along the way.

Just from the short clips alone, it appears that Director X, who has worked with the likes of Rihanna, Drake, Kanye West, and countless others, has captured the essence and vibe on the song. There’s no word on when the video will be officially release. From the clips alone, it’s safe to say that Kendrick Lamar will deliver another high-energy visual.
