Former President Donald Trump would like to run for the nation’s highest office once more. At least, that’s what his former campaign manager Kellyanne Conway is telling the American public. During a recent interview with CBS News, Conway indicated that the former reality show host would like to run for President a third time and she indicated that he would like to announce his intention to do so by Thanksgiving.
“I think once those midterms are done, President Trump can assess the timing of his announcement,” Conway said.
“I will tell you why he wants to run for president — Donald Trump wants his old job back.”
Trump has been an incredibly active participant throughout the 2022 midterm election process. This weekend, he has turned his attention toward the Great Lake State as he endorsed Tudor Dixon’s bid to unseat Gretchen Whitmer as the governor of Michigan.
“Michigan, you need to dump this wild-eyed extremist Gretchen Whitmer and put Tudor Dixon in the governor’s mansion,” he told his supporters at a rally in Warren, Michigan on Saturday.
By endorsing candidates in multiple states and delivering remarks at different rallies, Trump is able to keep his name alive in the world of politics. As a result, many politicians are waiting for him to decide what he will do in regard to the upcoming election before making a move themselves.
“The whole world will change depending on what Donald Trump decides,” Sen. Ted Cruz said.
“That’s true for every candidate. That’s true of every potential candidate.”
Midterm election season will continue to heat up as voters head to the booths in early November. However, attention will quickly shift toward the 2024 presidential election once the ballots are cast. Once again, it appears that the country is headed toward an election season full of twists and turns.
