Karl-Anthony Towns, center for the Minnesota Timberwolves, had previously announced that his mother was in a medically-induced coma due to complications with COVID-19. Now, the Minnesota Timberwolves have confirmed the unfortunate news that Jacqueline Cruz-Towns has passed away due to the coronavirus at age 58.
