Kari Faux is one of the most critically acclaimed artists waiting to make that next step in to the mainstream. The Little Rock native has had her music featured on HBO’s Insecure and worked with the likes of Donald Glover. As she settles into the new year, she plans on delivering more personable tracks that reveal more of who she is as a person.
Earlier this year, Kari Faux dropped one of her most personal tracks yet, “Leave Me Alone”. After releasing the record, Faux said, “Leave Me Alone is about being depressed and feeling like people only hit you up to know what cool things are happening for you but not caring to know the state of your mental.” She added, “My phone gives me anxiety a lot of the time. Sometimes I wish I could throw my phone into the woods somewhere so no one can reach me.”
With the release of her latest single behind her, Kari Faux is back with a five track project called Cry 4 Help. The new project is led by the single, “Leave Me Alone”, and comes with new songs like “Medicated” and “Latch Key”. Listen to the full project above and let us know what you think of her latest body of work.
