Kareem “Biggs” Burke made headlines last week when it was announced that he was returning to the music industry. The co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records broke the news that he signed musician SAINt JHN to his Circle of Success Management Company.
In a recent interview with Revolt TV, Burke discussed a number of topics including being an executive producer on HBO’s new film, O.G. and his return to the music business.
When asked how he would he orchestrate a biopic on Roc-A-Fella Records, he revealed that he’s currently working on one. He stated,
“Yeah, I’m working on it now. It’ll probably be separate stories of JAY, Damon and myself. Showing us as kids to understand what we’ve went through — the pain and hardships.”
He continued,
“The extenuating circumstances such as me living in a shelter, some people don’t really know that. Being evicted, living in a shelter, and staying in people’s houses and floors for two years. JAY losing his father at four years old when his father left him. Dame losing his mom at 14 years old and having to put himself through private school. So, there were a lot of hardships and things we went through that actually gave us strength.”
The interview wrapped up with the discussion of Dame Dash’s recent apology to both Burke and JAY-Z, and his future endeavors with his company and new signee SAINt JHN.
