Back in 2005, Kanye landed the cover of the highly respected publication just before the release of his 2nd studio album, Late Registration. Fast-forward to almost 10 years later and Mr. West is back on the cover of Time Magazine. The polarzing difference between his previous cover and his current cover, is now he is being recognized as one of worlds most influential people. Whether you agree or disagree, Kanye West’s influence has expanded much beyond the realms of Hip-Hop culture, and Time Magazine recognizes and celebrates that.
