By now, we’ve all seen the footage and speculated as to if a Kanye West and Drake album would come to fruition. With many opinions and thoughts on just if this is a good move for either artists, Kanye West and Drake look to be 100% on board thanks to confirmation from the The Life Of Pablo rapper himself. Speaking with Vogue, Kanye West mentioned that Drake and himself are indeed in the process of creating music together.
Another recent hint was the billboard that appeared in L.A. showing West’s music company logo alongside Drake’s. “We’re just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio,” West said. “We’re working on an album, so there’s some exciting things coming up soon.” He declined to give a release date.
With Kanye West being widely respected in the world of Hip-Hop for his creativity and risk-taking and Drake arguably at his peak, this impending project already has a bar that is set sky high. With no indication on just what the two are cooking up, we can only hope that fans will love the body of work when it arrives.
