If you were to tell Kanye fans at the beginning of 2018 that they would receive 3 albums from him this year, they might have laughed. Luckily, that has become a reality with Ye’s upcoming Yandhi release being his 3rd installment of the year. Randomly announced earlier in the month, the train is going full speed ahead of the September 29th release.
Ahead of his “SNL” performance this weekend, Kanye stopped by The Fader, which was filled with many things, including music. While previewing some new material, the Graduation creator revealed that 6ix9ine and XXXTentacion will be featured on the album. Beyond that, Ye is also aiming for Rihanna to be featured on a track that was recently sent to her.
Seeing some heavy competition this weekend due to his album arriving just after Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V, Yeezy is already aware that he’ll come in second place this time around.
we’re releasing Yandhi Saturday night
We know it will come in number 2 to my brother Lil Wayne and that’s lovely
The universe needs Ye and Wayne music at the same time

Yandhi will be Kanye’s 9th solo studio album.
