On Saturday, October 12, Vice President Kamala Harris released her medical report. The two-page document offers an overview of her medical status, including information about her nearsightedness, allergies and family history of colon cancer.
“In summary, Vice President Harris remains in excellent health. She possess the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief,” Dr. Joshua R. Simmons wrote.
Harris’s political foe, Donald Trump, released a three-paragraph letter about his health last November. Dr. Bruce Aronwald described his cognitive health as “exceptional” and his overall health as “excellent.”
“I am pleased to report that [former] President Trump’s overall health is excellent. His physical exams were well within the normal range and his cognitive exams were exceptional. In addition, his most recent extensive laboratory analysis remains well within normal limits and was even more favorable than prior testing in some of the most significant parameters, most likely secondary to weight reduction,” Aronwald wrote.
Eleven months have passed since the letter was shared and members of the Harris campaign are beginning to question his health. More specifically, members of the campaign have drawn attention to his speech as he inches closer to his 79th birthday.
“He talks at his rallies about fictional characters. He constantly is in a state of grievance about himself,” Harris said.
“He is quite unfit to do the job.”
