Say what you want about K. Michelle, but the singer has proved over the course of these past few years that hard work surely pays off. Finding herself being introduced to most on VH1’s “Love And Hip-Hop Atlanta,” K. Michelle played it smart and used the platform to focus less on the drama and more on her passion. With two albums under her belt, Rebellious Soul and Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?, the ‘V.S.O.P.’ songstress prides herself on not being labelled and put in a box in terms of the type of music she should make and how it should sound. Now, serving as a very blunt statement that rings beyond the walls of the music industry, in a recently deleted Instagram post, K. Michelle announced her new album, I Ain’t White, But I Hope You Like.

I’m right your wrong all night we fight about it, let’s stop the shouting #album3 #postdelete new album entitle “I’m not white, but I hope you like” ??? make the music color shouldn’t matter A video posted by K. Michelle (@kmichellemusic) on
Showcasing that she’s not afraid and is more than eager to switch up her sound, K. Michelle’s new album will definitely find itself being the topic of many discussions just based off the title alone. The bigger picture shows that as a singer, Ms. Michelle simply wants to make music without the boundaries of music industry stereotypes and classifications. Noting that the lead single will be here very soon, we’ll surely be tuning in to see what exactly has been cooked up for I Ain’t White, But I Hope You Like.
