As he battles for his first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100, he’s not No,. 1 with Spotify as he’s set the new streaming record with the service.

Released Friday, What Do You Mean? got 21 million global streams in just its first five days, according to Nielsen Music. Bieber now holds Spotify’s single-week streaming record in the U.S., too.
Met with backlash from the general public over the past year, this is surely a triumphant moment for the singer. In tears after an impressive MTV VMAs performance, it appear Justin is full on track to not only make ‘What Do You Mean’ as success, but also his new album which is slated for a November release.
