Juice WRLD earns No. 1 album with Death Race For Love. Released March 8, fans have given the support needed to claim the top of the charts.
Currently, on a European tour with Nicki Minaj, Juice WRLD leads the Billboard Hot 200 chart. Billboard reports the album “earned 165,000 equivalent album units in the week ending March 14, according to Nielsen Music.” 43,000 of that total were in album sales.
Juice WRLD previously came close to earning the No. 1 title. His collaborative effort with Atlanta rapper Future, WRLD On Drugs debuted and peaked at No. 2. His solo debut Goodbye And Good Riddance peaked at No. 8.
His climb to the top of the charts is admirable as Death Race For Love currently stands as 2019 biggest Hip Hop release. The data recorded lists the album as the biggest week overall and largest streaming week for an R&B/Hip Hop album in 2019 and the second biggest streaming week overall, following Ariana Grande’s Thank You Next.
