The Golden State Warriors have signed guard Jordan Poole to a four-year extension worth $140 million. He has become a rising star on the Golden State offense and really came into his own this year and helped the team capture the 2022 NBA Championship. The rumors about his extension with the team circulated this offseason and just before the season begins the team gets the deal done with Poole. Of course, he was most recently in the news after he was punched in the face during practice by teammate Draymond Green. Golden State has a limited title window and hopes to keep it open with this deal.

Before the end of his career, Jordan Poole could very well be the face of the Golden State Warriors. When Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green retre, Poole could be the franchise’s choice to lead the team. While he isn’t quite the player Curry is, he has gotten better each season and is still relatively young as well.
