
Jordan Peele is going to have a busy spring this year. Us, his highly-anticipated follow up to Get Out is already set to release on March 22nd. Now according to The Wrap, CBS has revealed his also-highly-anticipated ‘Twilight Zone’ reboot is set to premiere on April 1st. The first two episodes of the series will hit CBS All Access simultaneously, after which episodes will be made available weekly beginning April 11th.
Peele’s Twilight Zone has been making headlines recently as the star-studded cast continues to grow. Ike Barinholtz, John Cho, Lucinda Dryzek, Taissa Farmiga, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Alison Tolman, and Jacob Tremblay are all set to appear, among others. Peele is producing the series through his company Monkeypaw Productions alongside Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films. Rick Berg, Audrey Chon, Win Rosenfeld, Carol Serling, and Greg Yaitanes are also attached as producers.
The Twilight Zone was created by Rod Sterling and originally ran from 1959 to 1964. It has been revived twice since with the first running for 110 episodes on CBS beginning in 1985. Then, in the early 2000s, UPN ran another reboot for 43 episodes with Forest Whitaker serving as narrator.
