According to Bill Oram of the Orange County Register Jordan Clarkson and D’Angelo Russell are expected to have future workouts with Steve Nash. Second-year point guard Jordan Clarkson told Bill Oram in an interview that he planned to work out with Nash this offseason, and he said that No. 2 overall pick D’Angelo Russell would likely participate in the workouts also.
Jordan Clarkson told me he is planning on future workouts with Steve Nash. He believes D’Angelo Russell will be included as well.

D’Angelo Russell has previously mentioned that he is looking forward to absorbing all he can from Kobe Bryant now that he’s a Laker, but he’d be wise to learn from former 2-time MVP Nash, too. Although defensively there really wouldn’t be much to learn.
So far Russell has shown flashes of brilliance in Las Vegas Summer League, and the Lakers are hoping that he can consistently play and pass out of the pick n roll like we’ve seen so many times on tape. On another note, earning NBA All-Rookie First Team honors last season, will certainly help Clarkson to build on a strong rookie year, where he averaged 11.9 points and 3.5 assists per game. The Lakers guards will definitely go through some growing pains next season, but if they are learning from one of the NBA’s all time great point guards in Nash, their potential for success in the future will be undoubtedly bright.
