Isaac also missed significant time with a knee injury in January, keeping him out of action until returning in the bubble following the NBA’s hiatus due to COVID-19.
The sixth overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Florida State University, Isaac has carved out his role as the driving defensive presence on the Magic. In limited action this season, Isaac averaged 11.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game in his 37 appearances.
The Orlando Magic finished this season as the eighth-seeded team in the Eastern Conference holding a record of 33-40. The Magic were recently eliminated in the first round of the playoffs 4-1 to the first-seeded Milwaukee Bucks.
