Isaac, a 6-foot-10 forward, averaged 12 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 26.2 minutes per game for the Seminoles. He shot 50.8 percent from the field and 34.8 percent from three-point range.
Isaac’s announcement comes six days after Florida State was upset by Xavier in NCAA tournament’s round of 32.
In Def Pen’s latest mock draft by Austin Reed, Isaac was projected to go fifth overall in the draft.
DraftExpress’ latest mock has Isaac going ninth overall. He’s a definite lottery pick, probable top-10 pick and possible top-five pick.
Isaac is a good player. He’s displayed an impressive blend of athleticism, length and shooting touch. At just 209 pounds, Isaac’s weakness is his strength. He’s far too skinny for a 6-foot-10 wing. The good news is that Isaac is just 19 years old, and has plenty of time to put on weight. This kid has a very bright future ahead of him.
