The Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers have one major thing in common. They both have young cores of talented potential stars on their roster poised to take over as the next wave of NBA All-Stars. The Bucks young core is centered around Giannis Antetokounmpo, who made the All-Star game for the first time in his career in 2017. For the 76ers, despite being slated to have two number one overall picks on their team, it appears all the eyes are set on big man Joel Embiid to be the All-star Philly has been missing since Andre Iguodala left town.
But Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, and possibly Markelle Fultz don’t get to Philly without ‘The Process’, a plan by former Sixers general manager Sam Hinkie. He elected to send Philly into a downward tanking spiral, accepting some bad veteran contracts, trading young talent and acquiring assets to plan for the future. He was loading up to find that star.
With the new management in town under Bryan Colangelo, it appears Philly is making the turn back towards being a formidable team. But some might not be strong believers in the ‘process’.
When Edens was introducing the new Bucks GM he managed to take a shot at Philadelphia’s process.

People were quick to point out the Bucks haven’t really had that much more success than the 76ers over the past couple of years. Joel Embiid was one person who had a simple message for the Bucks owner.
That's cute… #TrustTheProcess https://t.co/LArLqaBXFT
