Usher has been in the news circuit recently for all of the wrong reasons. Despite the negativity, Jermaine Dupri took to Instagram earlier today (August 9) to let folks know they were in the studio cooking. One video shows the two walking in a hallway with the caption “To the studio we go.” The other is a clip in the studio of JD dancing to what sounds like a freshly cut song.
The last time we saw each of them individually, Ursh put out Hard II Love and Dupri was working on ‘The Rap Game’ on Lifetime.
As we all know, the duo is known to crank out classic material. 2004’s Confessions is widely regarded as a classic and arguably Usher’s best project to date. While we don’t expect them to re-create that album, we definitely expect fire from what ever comes from these sessions.
